The Jump Programme and partnership with Mozaïk RH

The Jump Programme was launched in 2014. Its goal: attracting, training and developing young talents by offering them a pathway for discovering SUEZ environnement and its activities. It targets students who are about to graduate and are passionately interested in activities related to the environment and sustainable development. The Group’s partner is Mozaïk RH, a recruitment agency specialised in promoting equal opportunity and diversity. “Jumpers” start with a 6-month work placement in France after graduation, followed by an assignment in a strategic department where they can acquire solid managerial and professional skills. Thus prepared, they can start working abroad on an eightmonth VIE (Volunteering for International Experience) contract. To date, two candidates have been selected and given support by Mozaïk RH.

A new training programme for personnel with hearing impairments /// SEAAL

To encourage both a feeling of belonging and the integration of hearing-impaired personnel, General Management and employee representatives decided to design a dedicated training programme. The content of the four-day module, in the form of a professional course, was established following a needs analysis of the people concerned, who are all plumbers. Simultaneous interpretation in sign language is provided. This initiative enables hearing-impaired personnel to have access to a training programme on the same basis as other employees who benefit from them regularly (18,000 days of training per year, an average of three days per employee).

Generation Lynk engages with employees of all generations

To reduce the gaps between older and younger employees, as well as to recognise and embrace the skills and the knowledge of all generations, millennial employees (aged between 20 and 35) created a SUEZ environnement business resource group in 2013 called Generation Lynk. The mission of Generation Lynk is to improve the organisation by engaging with each generation and promoting innovative solutions to business problems through knowledge and skill sharing. Generation Lynk provides a variety of tools, resources and career development opportunities to support and empower all employees and help them excel, grow and engage.
