We Are United strategic agenda

After conducting the third biennial survey on employee engagement in July 2013 (82% response rate), SUEZ environnement launched the We Are United strategic agenda in New Jersey early in 2014. This company strategy, based on identified themes of progress, revolves around action plans and sets measurable goals. To achieve them, the company introduced training plans, replication of best practices and analysis of performance indicators. The outcome: strong employee engagement and tangible results. For example, on the theme of customer satisfaction, this method of mobilisation helped shorten telephone waiting times by 90%.

Sharing 2014 : developing the Group’s employee shareholding

22% of SUEZ environnement employees took part in an employee share offering that was proposed to them in April 2014 on preferential terms. Sharing 2014 was subscribed in 22 countries (Belgium, Brazil, Chile, China, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Luxembourg, Macao, Morocco, Netherlands, Poland, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom and United States). Employees now hold 4% of the company’s equity.

In 2014, the Group redefined its social strategy and put emphasis on new programmes of mobilisation and well-being at work.

Through internal surveys, develop plans to improve the engagement of employees.

Keep the resignation rate (voluntary turnover) as low as possible – (lower than the average in the countries in which we operate).
